Colombia Huila

Colombia Huila

(1 customer review)

Price range: €13.10 through €45.45

What sets Huila apart from other Colombian coffee origins? It has a brighter acidity and fruity notes. It is a complex coffee because it has genetic variability and is grown in a zone with climatic diversity.

Huila is dominated by small producers: the average farm size is just 1.5 hectares. With such small crops, the farmers need to focus on quality rather than volume. This is what makes the coffee profiles so distinctive.

This coffee is sweet, milk chocolate, cherry, roasted almond and nutty notes. Bright acidity, medium body, elegant finish.

A pricey coffee bean but well worth it if you buy the 1kg bag. Great roast dates for every purchase. Close tossup between this and the organic Excelso.
