Growing up in Eger, in a small historical town in Hungary, amidst vineyards and wineries, where wine and coffee are integral to life, being chosen as “Pont. Gasztroműhely’s” coffee supplier was a true honor, connecting my heritage to my passion.

The new restaurant “Pont. Gasztroműhely” located in the heart of Eger’s historical town centre is redefining the art of dining with its innovative “small plate” dining concept, invites guests to share and savor together, fostering a sense of community and connection.

From Concept to Coffee Mastery

Our collaboration began in the most serendipitous of ways, during the early days of Pont. Gasztroműhely’s interior design planning. They sought not just a coffee supplier, but a partner to enhance their dining concept. Understanding their business model, we dove deep into discussions about peak coffee times, equipment, and workflow design, ensuring that the coffee experience would complement their culinary offerings seamlessly.

Designing for Efficiency and Connection

In a space where beer, wine, soft drinks, and cocktails flow as freely as the conversations, the design of the coffee-making area demanded meticulous attention. Our goal was to create an ergonomic setup that would enable smooth and swift service.

Pre-Opening Hustle: The Final Stretch

The days leading to the grand opening were a whirlwind of activity. Setting up the grinder and espresso machine, programming them for Pont. Gasztroműhely’s bespoke menu, and training the staff, we were amidst the flurry of last-minute preparations. Our training sessions were designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, respecting the team’s wide range of pre-opening responsibilities.

Celebrating Success and Ongoing Partnership

The opening of Pont. Gasztroműhely was a resounding success, a testament to the hard work and dedication of an incredibly talented team. Our journey, however, did not end there. Artessa Coffee remains a steadfast partner, providing ongoing support, training, and, of course, our premium coffee, ensuring that the restaurant continues to offer exceptional experiences to its guests.
